Ahmad Fadillah is the co-founder and Project Advisor of Projek Bina Ukhwah, a social enterprise that aims to create a better and safer living environment for the economically challenged family in Brunei Darussalam. In its first year, they've built and repaired four (4) houses that belong to the underprivileged families and engaged more than 150 volunteers and
20 project partners in their programmes. In addition, He runs a Family Empowerment and Economic Development Programme (By FEED) which mentors and facilitates selected families to start their own homebased businesses so they can generate a sustainable income. He also co founded Bina Ukhwah Training Series, which is a series of interactive capacity building programme for marginalized young people who do not have easy access to capacity building programmes. He runs individual mentoring programme to young volunteers on a part time basis in the area of project management and advocacy. He was one of the group recipients of The Commonwealth Youth Silver Award in 2007 awarded by The Commonwealth, a member of The Associate Fellow of The Royal Commonwealth Society in the UK which he was appointed in 2015, a recipient of Red Ribbon Award, awarded by Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council in 2015 and in June 2018, He was awarded with The Queen Young Leader's Award by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom and Great Britain at Buckingham Palace.He works at Jabatan Penerangan Jabatan Perdana Menteri and currently holds a position as Head of Information Department, Tutong Branch. |

Creative and Performing Arts Entrepreneur Amy Cheong, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Relentless Entertainment.
Amy is also a Radio DJ at Pilihan FM and was a national swimmer who represented Brunei in various regional and international swimming competitions between 1997 and 2006. She was also a national debater representing Brunei in local as well as regional debate competitions. Since 2008 Amy has devoted her time, energy and resources into helping raise awareness as well as developing the local creative and performing arts scene. Amy’s dedication to the performing arts grew from her desire to serve her community. She is talented in many disciplines and could have pursued a career that would give her much personal gains but instead, she chose a path that would benefit the society she grew up in and used her talents to add value to the lives of the young people around her. She has worked for years to provide a safe and inclusive environment for the creative community in Brunei to express themselves – singers, dancers and actors can all stand out and be themselves, and be among those just like them, doing what they love most. Her work in theatre as producer, director and mentor has made people sit up and notice the young talents in the country. Her company has trained local youth the arts and various dance forms and empowered them to teach others what they have learnt. Her company’s theatre productions are much-anticipated events and together with her partner and husband, they have created programmes to teach little children and youth the foundations of drama, vocals and stage theatre dance. Amy’s world of performing arts is built on her passion, her hard work, her love for her community and her believe that a career dedicated to helping others live up to their full potential and realise their dreams is one worth pursuing. |

Angie is an ecosystem builder and an active youth advocate in Brunei specifically through the startup and creative scene. Angie is currently the Training Associate of the Golden Equator Consulting arm in Brunei specialising in bootcamps and masterclasses for budding startup entrepreneurs.
She mentors with Brunei Mentors for Entrepreneurs Network (BMEN) which is a subset of ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network set up by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council to put together operative ecosystem at a national and regional level to encourage partnership between the MSME and corporate giants. Co-founding the Brunei startup ecosystem and creating a niche for herself in breaking barriers for youth development have led Angie to be recognised as one of the – “33 under 33 women to watch in Brunei" (2017); inaugural cohort of Obama Leaders in Asia Pacific (2019); Leader of Southeast Asia Women (2020); and The Bruneian's “50 most influential and inspiring LinkedIn icons” (2020). She was appointed in December 2020 as a member of the National Youth Policy and Strategy Advisory Group. Most recently in March 2021, co-started the Gender Equality Movement: APAC with her fellow APAC Obama Leaders. In October 2021, she was shortlisted as one the Women of the Future Southeast Asia Award 2021 under the Business Category. She was previously the Legal Executive of HEP Law dealing with various corporate and commercial matters, and had a portfolio of corporate clients including Government Ministries, Government-Linked Companies, banks and financial institutions, as well as regional and international companies. Angie was also previously with Nottingham City Council as an Information Governance Officer and her portfolio included working with the Data Protection Act 1998. She also pro bono with the Nottingham Law School’s Legal Clinic twice a week with the Creative IP team aiding and advising on legal drafting for startups and intellectual properties. She obtained her LLB (Honours) from the Bangor University, Wales in 2014; and did her Master in Law simultaneously with the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Trent University in 2015. |

Ajrul has been involved with volunteering since he was a very young age. It all started with a passion for graphics and content creation whereby he helped in creating a website, and other social media content for Brunei Darussalam Cycling Federation (BDCF) and Tour de Brunei back in 2011 and 2012.
Although back then, volunteering was not seen as something important, he pursues it anyway with an open heart to enhance his skills and turning passion into something of a reality. He is the founder of Street Candid Brunei, a photo gallery that showcases the beauty of Brunei, its culture and people; Never Full Stop, a platform to advocate about mental health issues through inspirational quotes that could enlighten their spirit; a podcast called Taboo & Stigma where he would discuss current issues, where listeners could expect raw honest conversations; and part of the core team at Young Professionals Network Brunei where he leads Mentorship WeCan series, a series where mentors and mentees could learn, discuss and connect for personal and professional development in a safe environment. |

A dedicated teacher and trainer who always strives to create a positive change in the classroom since 2008. Aspa continues to learn and explore methods she can exercise to further assist her in creating this change. This has helped Aspa to understand her students with extreme anxiety and stress in the classroom.
As of 2019, Aspa is the Co-Founder of Young Professionals Network Brunei - a network to nurture personal and professional growth of young professionals in Brunei. Initially led Mentorship WeCan and now, Aspa heads Leadership Circle - a platform that gathers thought leaders and managers alike to collectively discuss insights, frustrations & best practices in leadership. Aspa also offers capacity building programme for aspiring leaders. Previously, Aspa joined the Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT) in 2013, a youth led organisation that champions poverty alleviation, where she spearheaded projects through the establishment of SCOT Education, engaging over 500 students and teachers in various programmes including soft skills and capacity building. The programme offered students from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to exercise their skills in a safe and supportive learning environment. Aspa was also the Programme Coordinator at the Organisation for Building Community Resources (OBCR) in Cambodia and was involved in designing the curriculum for the English Training Project Centre (ETPC). |
