YPN…
… a name that can easily be mistaken for Yellow Playful Napkin or Yummy Pricey Nachos and you may not even be wrong!
The founding of YPN had its roots in the Nudge Global Impact Challenge 2018 participated by one of the co-founders in October 2018. The three days of immersive opportunity with global change makers and social innovators at the secluded Woudschoten Hotel in Zeist, Netherlands was a remarkable experience which left a lasting impact and imminent itch to contribute to something impactful.
YPN was conceptualised in February 2019 by a group of friends after a series of chats at the coffee shop and youth engagements as we realised we all share a common dream of our young people participating actively and leading the national development agenda confidently. Purposely throwing meaningful narratives onto the table ..platform, unemployment, skills, leaders, marketability etc led us to realize that t was about time that we have a platform that brings like minded and aspiring change makers together to spread positivity and empowerment in the form of a network is inclusive, engaging, meaningful and empowering driven by a community of drive, like-minded individuals, change makers, advocates, doers, facilitators, conveners..
