NUR DIYANA NASRIAH SUHAILI​

Nur Diyana Nasriah or Nash, a CSC Scholar has recently graduated with a Masters degree in International Business Administration under Zhejiang Normal University, China. She is extremely passionate about the importance of education, youth empowerment and entrepreneurship. Her life-changing journey started back in her third year UBD when she decided to challenge herself in a pitching competition at ASEAN Youth Entrepreneurship (Malaysia) and surprisingly won first place and in the same semester won the ‘Most Potential Economy’ Award for the event of MODEL APEC Education Ministerial Meeting’ in China.

Over the span of five years, she has been involved in some volunteering programme locally such as volunteering for the Education programme under the Society Community Outreach Programme(SCOT) and numerous International programme which takes place mostly in ASEAN countries, China, Japan as well as Korea. Furthermore, her biggest project to date was when she spearheaded ‘Project Edusparks’ along with team members from other ASEAN countries under the eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN programme organized by ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation. Also, the objective of the project was to provide equal opportunities in education for children and youths in education for children and youth by enhancing the capacity,interns and teachers in collaboration.

​Throughout this mentorship programme, she hopes to empower other youths to realize their own potential and to recognize the importance of upskilling from time to time through available opportunities.

NISA MASIR

Having discovered herself as someone who is always eager about exploring people’s potentials, Nisa decided from an early age that her career will be in the field of Human Resource Management. Graduated with a 1st Class Honours and Masters with Distinction from Lancaster University, Nisa has since then started her professional career as Human Capital Development Associate, focusing on training and development, performance management and HR Management System. Driven by her passion, Nisa is currently undertaking part-time PhD programme with research interest specifically in the areas of Industry 4.0, soft skills and employability. 

Outside of the office, Nisa gets to do some cool stuff through her role as an entrepreneur and proud advocate for modest fashion. She is the co-founder of Covered by AnNisa, Brunei’s leading modest fashion brand and is responsible for overseeing its strategic direction and brand building. Nisa has been sharing her entrepreneurial journey in multiple forums and events inside and outside of Brunei, selected as one of the 34 successful Bruneian youth entrepreneurs and was part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Plenary panelist speakers during 2018 Youth Day.
