ZIQAH OMAR

Ziqah Omar's career journey has not been a walk in the park. From having to juggle multiple jobs and multiple rejections, she started off as a housekeeper at a hotel and has then work in multiple fields ranging from hospitality, accounting, food and beverage, cosmetic and film industry both in Brunei and Malaysia.

Through these experiences, it has led her to stem away from working for others to bringing in her family culinary heritage into the market. Together with her brother, Afiq and the encouragement from family and friends, they founded Arquilato Kusina which specialises in authentic Filipino food. Since its inception, Ziqah has not only introduced exquisite Filipino foods but has been an active role in bringing the local and filipino community together through their food.
